Sweet circa 1920s figural pot metal brooch of a bird in flight with a peridot green crystal clasped in its beak. Very nicely detailed with raised faux gems on the body and wings that look like marcasites. The nice thing about them is that they will never need to be replaced. Composition appears to be rhodium or chromium plate on base metal with antiquing on the front. Simple C clasp works well.
Condition: Excellent with minor wear and patina on the back of the piece and paste bezel. Pin is straight and C clasp functions perfectly.
Measurements: 2 1/4 inches wide and a little over 1/2 inch high. Paste is 7 mm. Weighs 3.3 grams.
