Circa 1930s art deco filigree bangle bracelet featuring delicate filigree contrasting with a bold machine age spiral design. Three clear pastes are set in the front of the bracelet. Great geometric detail on top and bottom. Has a tongue clasp and safety chain which is a little short. Will fit best on a 6 inch or slightly larger wrist. No marks.
Beautiful bold and very art deco rhodium plated bangle could be worn with anything. Very Metropolis look to it!
Measurements: The bracelet is 3/4 wide and the inside circumference is 6 1/2 inches. Pastes are 2.5 mm. Weight is 19 grams.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear to the finish most noticeable on the inside, pastes have darkened slightly but still have a nice antique shine. Safety chain is short, looks like it broke at some point but I believe it’s original. It can be replaced with a sterling chain on request.
Condition scale:
Excellent: light wear such a surface scratches, patina from age, very slight smoothing of detail
Very Good: moderate wear such as scratches, fleabites or nicks to stones when inspected closely
Good: obvious wear such as dents, heavy detail wear and minor damage – wearable without repairs
Fair: heavy wear and/or damage that needs to be repaired for the piece to be worn
Note: All defects are noted to the best of my ability and are reflected in pricing. Measurements and weight are approximate.
