Description

Circa 1940s late art deco ring with a large oval black glass simulated onyx in a geometric halo setting dotted with marcasites. There are no marks, has tarnish so it looks like it might be silver or silver plate on a silvertone metal.

Wonderful Art Deco statement cocktail ring with a lot of presence.

Measurements: Stone is 15 x 22 mm, marcasites are 1 mm. Ring face is 1 x 1 1/4 inch. Weight is 11 grams. Ring is size 6 3/4.

Condition: Very good condition slightly out of shape with light surface scratches and heavy patina/tarnish. Could probably be polished bright if desired. One marcasite is missing, only seen on very close inspection.

Please view photos and read entire description and policies before purchasing!

Condition scale:
Excellent: light wear such as surface scratches, patina from age, very slight smoothing of detail
Very Good: moderate wear such as scratches, fleabites or nicks to stones when inspected closely
Good: obvious wear such as dents, heavy detail wear and minor damage – wearable without repairs
Fair: heavy wear and/or damage that needs to be repaired for the piece to be worn

Note: All defects are noted to the best of my ability and are reflected in pricing. Measurements and weight are approximate.
