Description

Circa 1920s 18k white gold filigree ring with beautiful lacy filigree and scroll detail with engraved foliate details on the shoulders. Beautiful style of Art Deco trilogy ring with the delicate engraving combined with an architectural feel. The diamonds are hand cut with open culets, approximately 10 points total. The center stone is a french cut blue sapphire, likely synthetic as was the style of the period. The diamonds are nearly colorless with beautiful sparkle. Stamped 18 K. Please view photos and read entire description and policies before purchasing!

This beautiful ring works beautifully as an engagement or anniversary ring.

Measurements: The diamonds are approximately 2.5 mm, sapphire is 3 mm; around .20 carat total weight. The face of the ring is 3.8 x 3/4 inch. It rises 6 mm off the finger. Shank is .8 mm deep x .8 mm high at base. Weight is 1.8 grams. Ring size is 6.

Condition: Very good condition with light surface scratches and very slight wear to the detail. The sapphire has a tiny edge chip and repair has been done to the base of the setting both seen with magnification. Shank has thinned from wear but has some time before it will need to be reinforced.

Condition scale:
Excellent: light wear such a surface scratches, patina from age, very slight smoothing of detail
Very Good: moderate wear such as scratches, fleabites or nicks to stones when inspected closely
Good: obvious wear such as dents, heavy detail wear and minor damage – wearable without repairs
Fair: heavy wear and/or damage that needs to be repaired for the piece to be worn
