Description

Circa 1870s solid 14k gold bangle bracelet with oak and buckle motif. It features beautifully detailed oak leaf and acorn design in taille d’epargne black enamel. It accents a buckle design that like the oak imagery symbolizes strength, permanence and a strong bond. It was a victorian custom to give a bracelet of this type to commemorate the engagement as well as the wedding. Unknown mark on the clasp tongue, tests as 14K gold. Please view photos and read entire description and policies before purchasing!
