Description
Super shiny gold tone (they are so reflective that it was difficult to get a good picture) circa 1940s earrings with screw backs. They are unmarked but look as though they have a nice gold plate on them. The stones are a deep red, like a garnet color, prong set inside a flower form.
Measurements: 1 inch wide, the red stones are 6 mm. Weight is 8.7 grams.
Condition: Very good condition with some light wear to the gold surface, mostly on the backs.
Condition scale:
Excellent: light wear such a surface scratches, patina from age, very slight smoothing of detail
Very Good: moderate wear such as scratches, fleabites or nicks to stones when inspected closely
Good: obvious wear such as dents, heavy detail wear and minor damage – wearable without repairs
Fair: heavy wear and/or damage that needs to be repaired for the piece to be worn
Note: All defects are noted to the best of my ability and are reflected in pricing. Measurements and weight are approximate.
