Mid century sterling silver and open back large crystal circle non-pierced screw back earrings

Description

Circa 1950s open back crystal earrings in sterling silver with a shiny rhodium plate. Eight round clear faceted crystal stones form a circular lined by 5 smaller crystals around the center. Beautiful crystal earrings with loads of sparkle and flashes of color in the light. Marked Ster. and a maker mark on the backs. Measurements: Large crystals are 5 mm, small ones are 2.5 mm. Earrings are 3/4 inch across. Weight is 4.4 grams.

Condition: Excellent condition, stones are bright and sparkly, nice glossy finish on the silver.

Condition scale:
Excellent: light wear such as surface scratches, patina from age, very slight smoothing of detail
Very Good: moderate wear such as scratches, fleabites or nicks to stones when inspected closely
Good: obvious wear such as dents, heavy detail wear and minor damage – wearable without repairs
Fair: heavy wear and/or damage that needs to be repaired for the piece to be worn
