Mid-century sliver solitaire engagement ring set with a clear french paste glass gem. Buttercup setting and open triangular design on the shoulders. The ring has elegance and nice sparkle. Very pretty sterling engagement ring in well-loved condition, still very wearable.
Measurements: Ring is size 5 1/4. Glass gem is 4.5 mm. Rises 6.5 mm above the finger. Weight is 1 gram.
Condition: Very good condition with light wear and a sizing mark at the base of the shank, one prong is bent but the stone is secure. An edge chip on the paste gem next to the bent prong can be seen with magnification.
Condition scale:
Excellent: light wear such as surface scratches, patina from age, very slight smoothing of detail
Very Good: moderate wear such as scratches, fleabites or nicks to stones when inspected closely
Good: obvious wear such as dents, heavy detail wear and minor damage – wearable without repairs
Fair: heavy wear and/or damage that needs to be repaired for the piece to be worn
